HOW YOU CAN HELP
Many are surprised to learn that we have production capacity beyond our current output. English translation: we could make a lot more than we do. So what’s holding us back? You’re looking at the two main reasons. We need more volunteers to make the vehicles and more money to buy the parts. That’s it — we have no labor costs.
Giving:
Our ability to meet our mission of mobility is totally dependent on the gifts of those who believe in what we do here at P.E.T. Florida. We have no paid staff, and you can be assured that your gift will go where you intend it to go. While we are occasionally blessed with large donations, the majority of our support comes from lots of smaller ones. Both categories are equally important and appreciated. Volunteering:
For those of you within an hour or so of Penney Farms, consider joining us for a day a week — or month. Need inspiration? A faithful group from a church in Gainesville FL has been coming here monthly for 13 years now (they’re the five on the far left of the group picture above). For you northern readers, here’s an idea to consider. Next to our shop we have an RV area equipped with utilities where snowbirds can come to work with us in the winter. How about considering a vacation with a purpose?
