Each year at this time, the many affiliates of the Mobility Worldwide network of workshops gather at one of their locations to share lots of ideas and inspiration. Pet Florida was chosen to host this year’s event in recognition of our 25th anniversary (we’re the second oldest affiliate).
|
One of the advantages enjoyed by the hosting affiliate each year is that more of their members are able to attend the meetings and social times with their counterparts from around the world. Since these conferences began, the constructive input each year has resulted in significant improvements in:
|
-
-
-
- · Handcycle design and standards
- · Production methods
- · Procedural coordination with MW headquarters
- · Fundraising and promotion training
- (Always including lots of inspiration and fellowship betweem mobility colaborers.)
In addition to the interest many attendees will have in this year’s unique conference setting here at the Penney Retirement Community, we expect a highlight for them will be the powder coating demonstrations planned as part of our plant tour.
|
Our special thanks are due Teresa Scott and her staff for accomodating the needs of our conference here on the PRC campus..
